1st item: Chinese carved malachite figure of an older man, possibly an immortal, seated on a boulder with pipe and holding fish at his side. Hardwood stand with decorative wire inlay. Overall: 5 3/4" H. 2nd item: Carved turquoise figure of a young woman playing a wind instrument, with a flower blooming in a pot beside her. Carved wood stand. Overall: 3 1/2" H. Both 20th century.
PROVENANCE: Collection of a Nashville Physician.
CONDITION: 1st item: Overall excellent condition. 2nd item: Tiny chip or imperfection to back of dress; missing the tip of the flute. Dried out pink residue from old putty used to adhere the figure to the stand.
