Lot of two (2) canes or walking sticks. 1st item – Carved bone cane with a stacked bone shaft and handle in the form of a diving bell. Diving bell contains a rotating head having two faces. Brass ferrule. Length 36 1/4" L. 2nd item – Decorative cane with a purple swirl marble sphere and silver metal twisted rib handle, black painted wooden shaft, metal foliate design ferrule. Length 39" L. Both late 19th century. Condition: Bone cane with hairline to lower handle, couple of glued repairs, split to one of the stacked bone sections. Marble handled cane with overall general wear and tarnish to silver metal.
