German Meissen porcelain figural group depicting the Roman god Bacchus atop a wine barrel, draped with a leopard skin, holding a glass in his right hand and a scepter in the other with one cupid, one satyr, and one female attendant at his feet, all posed on a naturalistic base. Underside with blue underglaze crossed swords mark together with 126 (impressed) and 630X (incised). 12" H x 10" W x 5 1/2" D. 19th century.
PROVENANCE: The Estate of Edward Laudermilk, Nashville, Tennessee.
CONDITION: Overall very good condition. A couple of very minor break repairs to leaf tips.
