Folk art fiddle with carved human figural handle, hand cut F-holes, the strings attached to a tailpiece of fur and hide; nailed construction (round nails). 25″L. Possibly Southern, late 19th century. Condition: One tuning peg and string missing, 3″ loss to section on lower front section, general wear, abrasions and small losses. Original darkened surface.
