Persian Sarouk rug, wool on cotton, center-shaped medallion on an ivory field flanked by floral spandrels, within three primary borders. Overall scrolling foliate and medallion designs. Woven in colors of red, blue, cream, salmon, and gold. 4 ft 9 in x 6 ft 2 in. Circa 1930s.
PROVENANCE: The estates of Walter and Dr. Mary Schatz, Nashville.
CONDITION: Overall very good condition, losses to fringed ends.
