East Tennessee 48 Star cotton and muslin quilt, in the form of an American flag. Comprised of a combination of machine stitched and handstitched 17 red and white stripes with 48 five-pointed stars on a blue background. Back of quilt displays faint green flour sack markings. 80 1/4" x 68 1/4". 1st half 20th century. Condition: Overall good condition with some scattered staining and a couple of small patch repairs.
