Chinese archaic earthenware figure modeled as a standing duck, 8 1/2" H (21 cm) x 3 1/2" W x 8 1/2" D. Accompanied by an acrylic plinth (1/2" H) and a 1996 certification from Charles Jim of Hong Kong stating the piece dates from the Han Dynasty (206 BC -220 AD).
PROVENANCE: Private Memphis, Tennessee collection, acquired in Hong Kong 1996.
CONDITION: Remnants of original glaze.
