Six (6) Vale, North Carolina folk art pottery items with alkaline glazes, including Burlon Craig (Lincoln County, North Carolina, 1914-2002) and Charles Lisk (Catawba County, 20th-21st century). 1st item: One (1) large jar with brown alkaline glaze, having two lug handles and incised line around the shoulder. Signed "B. B. Craig" to underside. 15 3/4" H x 9 1/2" dia. 2nd item: One (1) jar with swirled grey and white alkaline glaze, having two lug handles. Signed "B. B. Craig Vale NC" to underside. 7 1/2" H x 7 1/2" dia. 3rd item: One (1) pitcher with green alkaline glaze and painted blue and green flowers having ridged applied handle and pinched spout. Signed "B. B. Craig Vale NC" to underside. 4th item: One (1) miniature lidded jar with brown alkaline glaze, having two lug handles and knob handle to lid. Partially legible signature "B. B. Craig Vale NC" to underside. 3 3/4" H x 5 3/8" dia. 5th item: One (1) miniature pitcher with black alkaline glaze, having applied handle and pinched spout. Signed "B. B. Craig Vale NC" to underside. 3 1/8" H x 3 3/4" W x 2 5/8" D. 6th item: One (1) lidded jar with green alkaline glaze with white accents, having two lug handles, incised lines around shoulder, and knob handle to lid. CONDITION: All pieces in overall good condition with few scattered firing flaws. 1st item: Scattered losses to rim, largest measuring 5/8" H x 1 3/4" W. 5th item: Loss to rim measuring 1/8" H x 3/8" W.
