1st item: Antique Beshir Torba Turkmen rug, wool on wool, the brick red center with stylized floral and medallion designs within a large primary floral border. Woven in red, blue, gold, and cream colors. 5 ft. 1 in. x 3 ft., circa 1870s. 2nd item: Antique Yomud or Yomut Turkmen Chuval rug, wool on wool, with three rows of four guls on a stylized ground and plain lower elem panel within three primary borders, and one with three (3) rows of three guls within one primary border. Woven in colors of red, blue, and cream. 5 ft. 7 in. x 3 ft 1 in., circa 1890s.
PROVENANCE: Private Des Moines, Iowa collection.
CONDITION: Both rugs are in overall good condition.
