Pair of Chinese bronze mounted cloisonne vases, possibly floor vases, baluster form having a turquoise ground with taotie mask and lappet decoration, each with gilt bronze medial band joining two figural foo lion side masks with ring handles. 24" H. Early 20th century.
PROVENANCE: The Estate of David Caldwell, Nashville, Tennessee.
CONDITION: Overall good condition. Some minor scattered wear, light oxidation, minor pitting and minor dings along lower bodies of both. Oxidation to handles and medial band. Some fine cracking and minor losses to undersides.
