Style of Jan Wyck (Netherlands, 1652-1700) pair of oil on board landscape paintings. One depicts a hunt scene with men on horseback and architecture in the background and the other a scene with figures and animals resting near a body of water. Both unsigned with "Jan Wyck" engraved on nameplate to front. Both housed in giltwood frames with linen filets. Sights: 5 1/2" H x 7 1/2" W. Framed: 9 1/2" H x 11 1/2" W. Continental, 19th century.
PROVENANCE: Private Nashville, TN Collection.
CONDITION: No visible retouching. Some fleabite losses and craquelure due to natural wood shrinkage of board.
