Pair of two (2) Japanese bronze footed vases, cylindrical form with incised fret rim, bird on flowering branch and blossoming tree relief decoration to body, and four trifid feet. Character mark to underside.10 5/8" H x 4 3/4" dia. Meiji period, late 19th to early 20th century.
PROVENANCE: The collection of Gerry Sadow, Nashville, Tennessee.
CONDITION: Both with minute spots of wear to rims, including slight denting. One with break to one lower scalloped edge, measuring 1/4" x 5/8".
