Group of medals, badges and ribbons, descended in the family of Dr. Edward Storck (b. 1831) of Buffalo, New York. (Storck served as an examining physician for the Union Army during the Civil War and was a prominent doctor after the war. He was also active in politics, serving as a delegate to National political conventions and on the Buffalo City Council). Lot includes a scarce [Grover] CLEVELAND DEMOCRACY NEW YORK badge and ribbon, 7"L ; 3 white metal SOUVENIR badges, 1 gilded metal NEW YORK badge and a 1-7/8" hollow white metal coin, all with markings for the 1892 World's Columbian Exposition; a Masonic badge and ribbon marked LAKE ERIE LODGE NO. 317 BUFFALO NY FC KBP INSTITUTED MAR 18 '92; Masonic badge and ribbon marked 1492 1892 STRUCK BY THE GRAND LODGE OF F. AND A.M.STATE OF NEW YORK THE M.W.
