Group of three (3) German natural history lithographs, one depicts various types of coral and two depict various seashells. From Lorenz Oken's (1779-1851) Universal Natural History (Allgemeine Naturgeschichte fur alle Stande), published by C. Schach, Stuttgart, 1833-1843. Housed under glass in ebonized wood and gilt frames with cream canvas mats and giltwood fillets. Sight: 12" H x 9 1/2" W. Frames: 24" H x 21" W.
CONDITION: Scattered light foxing. Minor abrasion to paper at left edge of shell numbered "2," table 7.
