1st item: A Moore Brothers Pate-Sur-Pate moon flask vase having a pink ground with white slip floral spray decoration, gilt tassel-form handles, and a raised oval base with applied gilt foliate decoration centered by a porcelain cabochon. Illegible impressed shield mark to base edge, interior of base with gilt numbers. 7" H x 5 1/2" W x 1 3/4" D. 2nd item: A Moore Brothers Pate-Sure-Pate moon flask vase having a pink ground with white slip decoration depicting a cherub swinging on a leafy vine, resting on four flared feet with gilt to rim. Underside of base impressed "3". 5" H x 4 3/4" W x 2 1/4" D. Both items English, Last Qtr. 19th century.
PROVENANCE: The Estate of Edward Laudermilk, Nashville, Tennessee.
CONDITION: Both pieces in overall good condition. 1st item: Firing flaw to base edge.
