Turkish Oushak carpet, wool on wool. Overall central ivory field, the center with stylized foliate designs and three primary borders, including one wide border with stylized foliate designs. Woven in ivory, red, salmon, pale green, pale blue, and gold colors, 10 ft. 4 in. x 12 ft. 1 in. Early 20th century.
PROVENANCE: Private Kentucky estate.
CONDITION: Overall good condition with some areas of light staining. Uneven pile wear, with heavier wear in the center, and some visible knots. Losses to the fringe.
