Framed Chinese silk scroll depicting two quail beneath a rocky cliff with blossoming chrysanthemums. Chinese characters upper left margin. Sight – 35 3/4" H x 14 1/2" W, 14 3/4" x 38 3/4" sight under matte. Framed – 44 1/2" H x 20 3/4" W. Qing Dynasty. Condition: Darkening to silk, some scattered stains. Edges of scroll secured with linen hinge tape.
