Published by John Sharpe, London. 32mo, 180 gilt edged pages with watercolor double fore-edge paintings, one side depicting Somerset House Terrace and the Thames and one side depicting a view of Green Park, engraved title page with additional engraved illustrations, hardbound in full dark purple Moroccan leather with gilt blind stamps to covers, gilt lettering on spine. Pencil and ink inscriptions with old bookseller label, front end paper, old typed information label about book, taped to front end paper, ex libris bookplate, inside of front cover. 5 3/8" H x 3 1/2" W x 3/4" D. 2nd item: The Companion for the Altar; Containing Sacramental Prayers and Meditations, with Directions to the Communicant by the Rt. Rev. W. Beveridge, D.D., Lord Bishop of St. Asaph, n.d. (circa 1825). Published by Renshaw and Kirkman, London. 48mo, 52 pages gilt edged pages with watercolor double fore-edge paintings, one side depicting Westminster Abbey with Westminster Bridge and the River Thames and one side depicting York Cathedral and Canterbury Cathedral, engraved frontispiece and title pages, hardbound in full maroon Moroccan leather with gilt blind stamps to covers, gilt lettering on spine. Pencil and ink inscription reading "A. Watts/Oxford/June 1828" front end paper, old typed information label about book, taped to front end paper, old bookseller label, inside of front cover. 4 3/8" H x 2 3/4" W x 3/8" D.
