A large Louis XV Rococo style gilt bronze mantle clock with gilt and ebonized face framed by two large figural birds, supported on an elaborate, openwork scrolled frame with central satyr mask, c-scroll and shell decorated base resting on four shell and c-scroll feet. All parts including pendulum present. Stamped on works: "Mention Honorable L Marti et Cie", attributed to Samuel Marti, working Paris, late 19th century. 25" H x 19" W x 11-1/2" D. Condition: Restoration to gilding with some minor scattered discoloration. Works not tested or guaranteed.
