Creamware basket with underplate, oval form with grapevine decorated border and pierced basketweave molded sides. 3"H x 9"W x 6"D overall. Unmarked; possibly Wedgwood or Spode. English, circa 1800. Provenance: the estate of Margaret Wemyss Connor, Nashville, Tennessee. Condition: Light wear to paint especially at edges, scattered shallow small flakes to eges of tray, crazing, very light stain to bottom of underplate and interior of basket.
