Five (5) Chinese porcelain snuff bottles. 1st item: cylindrical form underglaze blue and iron red bottle with figural and hunting decoration. 2nd item: cylindrical form with blue and orange cloud and dragon decoration to exterior, with carved wood stand and red seal mark to underside, topped with a wood stopper. 3rd item: cylindrical form with fish decoration to exterior, carved wood stand, and red seal mark to underside, topped with a jade stopper. 4th item: small bottle form blue and white bottle with foliate decoration to exterior topped with jade and hardstone stopper. 5th item: ovoid form with applied tri-color enamel decoration with jade stopper painted red seal to underside. Ranging in size from 3" H x 1" dia. to 3 3/4" H x 2" W. Late 19th/20th century.
PROVENANCE: The Estate of Edward Laudermilk, Nashville, Tennessee.
CONDITION: 1st bottle with 2" hairline crack to body and missing stopper; 2nd with scattered firing flaws and chipping to underside rim; 3rd with small hairline crack to body, decoration wear, and scattered firing flaws. All other items in overall good condition with minor use wear.
