Old Paris porcelain figural garniture set, comprised of a clock and matching candleabra. The centerpiece with a central clock flanked by figures of two young lovers standing on a naturalistic ground, all on a shaped Rococo style base and fitted with a conforming carved gilt wood base, unmarked. Brass clock works with impressed medallion mark reading "Japy Freres et cie / Med. d'Honneur" and "B. G./ 900", with key. Together with a pair of figural 2-part Rococo style candelabra consisting of three branches over a column style base, each with a figure appearing from behind with a barrel pouring water at their feet, all on a round marbleized painted base. Clock – 11 3/4" H x 14 3/4" W x 7" D. Candelabra – 25 3/4" H x 9 1/4" W. 32 lbs. Third quarter of the 19th century. Private Lookout Mountain, TN collection. CONDITION: All pieces very good condition with minor wear and losses to gilt decoration. Break to one side of bow in females hair. Clock in working order.
