Meissen porcelain allegorical musical figural group, depicting two putti playing instruments and another putti seated below, central obelisk with bust, all on a shaped base. Underglaze blue cross swords mark in to base along with incised numbers. 12 1/2" H x 6 7/8" W x 5 1/2" D. Late 19th century. Provenance: Sevier County, TN private collection. CONDITION: Seated putti with old break to hands, missing original object, and restoration to garment on right side. Putti with harp missing fingers to one hand. Putti with trumpet has restoration to right shoulder and previous repair to trumpet. Obelisk loose but not detached from base.
