Two (2) Japanese bronze urns, converted to table lamps. Including one (1) globular form with applied leaf decoration to the body and raised on tripodal branch feet; and one (1) with relief design of birds on flowering branches, elephant mask handles, and four scrolled feet with taotie mask knees and stepped base. Additionally mounted to a wood base. 22" H and 28 1/4" H. Both Late 19th/early 20th century.
PROVENANCE: Collection of John H. and Carol R. Evans, Farragut, Tennessee.
CONDITION: Globular lamp top is slightly off center, otherwise overall very good condition. Elephant handled lamp with drill hole to base, otherwise overall very good condition. Both functioning at time of inspection.
