Rare Sanborns Mexican sterling silver wine cooler, campana form with lower lobed body, gadrooned rim, lion mask and ring handles, supported on a round foot with beaded rim. Stamped SANBORNS MEXICO STERLING with owl and eagle-22 mark. Holds regular size bottle of wine. 9 1/2"H x 9 7/8" diameter, 72.4 oz troy. Mexican, circa 1960s.

CONDITION: 3/8" spot of persistent tarnish to upper portion of base exterior, otherwise excellent condition, no monograms.
