Five (5) advertising tobacco items, including Camel store display. 1st item: Camel Cigarettes store counter display reading "Camel Cigarettes An Expert Blend of Turkish and Domestic Tobaccos More Delightful Than Either Kind Smoked Straight 20 for 10 [cents]" in gold and navy lettering surrounding the image of a man in Arabic costume leading a camel before an Egyptian desert landscape, one of the pyramids of Giza, right background, center panel of display. Four rows of 3" H x 5 1/2" W shelves, left and right panels, one 3" H x 8 1/2" W shelf, center panel, against green ground. "Compare Camels with any Cigarette at Any Price, R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Company, Winston-Salem, N.C., U.S.A." in gold and navy lettering against green and tan ground, base of display. Black lettering on yellow ground, en verso. 18 1/8" H x 20 3/8" W x 5 1/4" D. 2nd item: Rectangular Camel tobacco tin reading "Camel 5 [cent] Camel Brand Cigars", in red and white lettering with the image of an Arabic man on a camel against a brown and yellow desert landscape, front of tin, gilt, blue, red, and white Egyptian symbol, back side of tin, with hinged lid. Stamp, surface of lid. 5 5/8" H x 6" W x 4" D. 3rd item: Rectangular Lucky Strike tobacco tin reading "The Celebrated Lucky Strike Cut Plug Fragrant & Delicious" in red and black lettering against green and gilt foilate ground, surface of tin, with hinged lid. Traces of stamp, underside of tin. Unopened Lucky Strike wax wrapper pack with IRS tax stamp, interior of tin. 2 3/8" H x 4 1/4" W x 3 1/4" D. 4th-5th items: Two Lucky Strike pocket tobacco tins reading "Lucky Strike R.A.Paterson Tobacco Co. Rch'd, VA." in black lettering on red and green foliate ground, hinged lids of tins. Two partial IRS stamps and one retail stamp, underside and left side of one tin. 7/8" H x 4 5/8" W x 2 /8" D. Late 19th/early 20th century. CONDITION: Tins in overall good condtion. Areas of rust, dents in varying degrees, surface of tins. Most with scratches and some areas of loss of decoration.
