East Tennessee red and white coverlet made by Maryville Woolen Mill Company. The corners feature eagles with shields flanked by “M.W.M. Tenn.”. The center panel features a central circular foliate medallion flanked by stylized scrolling foliate borders. The wide border with birds, potted flowers, foliage, and dogs carrying flags. 77 in. x 77 in. Note: Maryville Woolen Mills operated in Blount County, TN, from approximately 1874 to 1906.

CONDITION:
A few scattered thread pulls to the textile. A few small scattered holes, primarily to the border area, and minor wear and losses to the fringe.
