Indian School watercolor and gouache on paper painting with gilt embellishments, depicting a royal procession of noblemen, attendants, and soldiers, the Mughal emperor rendered larger than the other figures, many riding elephants or horses, on a green backdrop with sliver of sky at the top, surrounded by a red border. Inscription upper margin. Housed under glass in a gilt wood frame. Sight – 10 3/4" H x 7 1/4" W. Framed – 11 3/4" H x 8 1/4" W. 19th century. CONDITION: Overall very good condition. Not examined outside of frame.
