German .900 Silver repousse footed pedestal centerpiece bowl, marks for Carl Weishaupt (1802-1864). Oval shaped bowl with scalloped and reeded border over fruit and foliate repousse decoration on a pedetal center with repeating repousse decoration to the flaring base, terminating in a scalloped and reeded foot. Base marked "900 C. Weishaupt" with additional German hallmarks. 10 1/4" H x 13 3/4" W x 8 3/4" D. Mid-19th century. 31.585 troy ounces. Provenance: Sevier County, TN private collection. CONDITION: Overall very good condition with light wear. Light indentation to center of bowl where stem connects.
