Plates are from Mee's original paintings. Preface by Roberto Burle Marx with an introduction by Richard Evans Schultes. Housed in a green cloth binding with gilt lettering and green cloth slipcase. 25 3/4" H x 19" W. Provenance: Former collection of Senator Howard Baker of TN. This portfolio was presented to Senator Baker from Joao Camilo Penna, Minister of Industry and Commerce in Brazil. Card from the Minister paper clipped to front page. Condition: Some fading and stains to case, wear to edges and overall grime. Slight staining to front cover and to a couple of front pages. Plates overall excellent condition.
