East Tennessee, Greene County, diminutive sideboard, walnut and butternut primary, yellow pine secondary. Rectangular top with scroll-shaped backsplash over three deep dovetailed drawers with wood pulls and brass escutcheons above three doors revealing shaped shelves, S-scrolled stiles forming scrolled front feet and slightly flaring rear feet. 46 1/4″ H x 51 1/8″ W x 17 1/2″ D. Circa 1840.
CONDITION: Older refinish. Top with sun fading and discoloration to finish. Wood shrinkage to the top and both sides. Minor scattered wear and abrasions.
