Four (4) assembled Chinese decorative items including one (1) round porcelain covered seal paste box with iron red foliate and symbol decoration; one (1) porcelain bowl with pale celadon ground and blue foliate decoration; one (1) porcelain hat stand depicting an elderly man with cane and document standing against a draped and floral backdrop, the base with remnants of a red stamp mark; and one (1) small carved and painted wood relief plaque or panel with altar offering decoration. Ranging in size from 2 1/8" H x 3 3/4" dia. to 10 3/4" H. Bowl is late 18th/19th century, remaining items 20th century.
PROVENANCE: Collection of John H. and Carol R. Evans, Farragut, Tennessee.
CONDITION: All items in overall good condition. Seal paste box with unknown residue to the outside of the base. Bowl with one chip to rim and crazing. Hat stand with losses to decoration including gilt rim. Carved panel wood shrinkage and losses to bottom right corner.
