Two (2) East Tennessee stoneware pottery jars with impressed “M P Harmon, Mohawk” marks around the circumference of the shoulder, for Moses P. Harmon, working in Mohawk, TN, circa 1877-1906. 8 1/2 in. H x 7 3/4 in. dia. & 6 1/2 in. H x 5 3/4 in. dia.
CONDITION: Overall good condition. Largest jar with a couple of old shallow chips to the rim, largest measures approx. 3 in. with a very minor chip to the base. Smaller jar with a couple of shallow small chips to the rim and a firing defect to the lower body.
