(1) Russian black patinated metal bust depicting a peasant woman with cross necklace on a pedestal base. Circular foundry mark, Cyrillic signature and "KAC31902" impressed on the base. 5 1/4" H. Early 20th century. (2) Russian bronze medal commemorating the consecration of the St. Isaac Cathedral in St. Petersburg, dated 1858. One side with a central portrait of portrait of Peter the Great together with the portraits of Catherine the Great, Paul I, Alexander I, Nicholas I and Alexander II, the reverse side with the St. Isaac Cathedral. 3" dia. Provenance: From the collection of William Samuel Krebs (d. 1907) who worked for International Harvester in Russia during the late 19th/early 20th century. Condition: 1st item: Marks underside difficult to read. Otherwise, overall very good condition. 2nd item: Overall crisp impressions to both sides. Light pitting and general wear.
