East Tennessee, Sullivan County, walnut two-drawer work table or stand with poplar, yellow pine, and oak/chestnut secondary, consisting of a two-board overhanging top above two side-by-side deep drawers with spool-turned pulls and tapered ring-turned legs. Pegged and square nail construction. 29″ H x 26 5/8″ W x 23 3/8″ D. Mid-19th century.
PROVENANCE: Living Estate of JoAnn Newland, Arcadia, Tennessee.
CONDITION: Overall very good condition. The sides of the left drawer with later nails reinforcing existing nails.
