Two (2) abstract watercolor paintings. 1st item: William "Bill" Loy (Tennessee, 1937-2008) abstract watercolor on paper, rendered in shades of orange, brown, yellow, grey, white, black, and blue. Signed and dated "William Loy 64" lower right. Housed and matted under plexiglass in a black frame with gilt trim. Sight: 21 3/4" H x 17 1/2" W. Framed: 34 1/4" H x 27 1/2" W. Note: Loy was a member of the art faculty at The University of Tennessee, Knoxville during the 1960-70s and frequently exhibited with members of The Knoxville Seven. 2nd item: Abstract watercolor on paper painting depicting a group of trees bending in a strong wind against a mountain range, beneath a stormy sky. Signed "64 Goins" lower center. Housed and matted under plexiglass in a wormy wood frame. Sight: 17 3/4" H x 22 1/2" W. Framed: 25 1/2" H x 29 3/4" W.
CONDITION: Both items in overall good condition with slight waviness to sheets. Not examined outside of frames. Frames with minor abrasions.
