Large and elaborate French patinated and gilt bronze figural clock, the top portion with bronze sculpture of two females in Classical style dress, holding hands, one with a musical instrument and the other holding a book (allegorical for art and literature); the base section modeled as a plinth with applied gilt bronze foliate and scroll ornamentation, surrounding an inset enameled dial marked Thomas Agnew & Sons, London.
