Neoclassical style gilt bronze clock, architectural flat molded cornice with a band of rosettes across the frieze, supported by Roman Corinthian columns. Round face suspended above a plinth with applied garlands. Illegible signature to face, "—-, Dijon." Time and strike movement. 23"h x 12"w x 5 7/8"d. French, circa 1890. Provenance: Estate of A. Welling LaGrone Jr., Nashville, Tenn. Condition: Exterior in good condition with some wear to gilding. Pendulum will not attach to works due to a broken suspension spring (Minor fix). Works untested.
