English Regency style mahogany sarcophagus form cellarette or wine cooler with inset front panel having ebonized trim, lead-lined interior, reeded lower edge, and reeded bulbous bun feet. 21 3/4" H x 30 1/8" W x 20 1/4" D. 19th century.
PROVENANCE: The Estate of Peggy Lambert, Maryville, Tennessee.
CONDITION: Minute scattered surface wear commensurate with age, including two areas of lifting to veneer. Scattered minor losses to lower reeded edge and corner of lid decoration. Partial detachment of trim to right side of lid.
