Meiji or Taisho era Japanese silver wire cloisonne box and cover, possibly Ando Jubei (1876-1953), worked in standard and musen ('wireless') cloisonne, the lid decorated with egret standing at the edge of a pond, reflected in the water at its feet; the interior lined with damask silk. 4"W x 1 3/4"H x 3 1/4"D.
CONDITION: Small stain to interior silk lining, otherwise excellent condition.
