Two acrylic on canvas paintings by Sybil Noble Murray (American, 20th c.), one depicting a woman in Renaissance style dress lifting a basket of fruit, with a mountainous landscape visible in the background, dated 1964; the other depicting three women in classical poses, likely The Three Graces, posing with fruit, a parrot and a monkey. Both signed "Sybil Noble" and housed in carved gilt wood frames. 1st painting: Sight – 23 1/2" H x 19 1/2" W. Framed – 31" H x 27 1/2" W. 2nd painting: Sight – 27 1/4" H x 21 1/2" W. Framed – 35 1/2" h x 29 1/4" W. Provenance: Property of the Birmingham Museum of Art. Condition: Both overall excellent condition.
