Dated February 22, 1840. 15 1/2" x 12". Provenance: the estate of John Davis descendant Sarah Hunter Hicks Green, formerly of Historic Devon Farm, Nashville, Tennessee. CONDITION: Small tear at left lower corner, overall toning, some foxing underneath Polk's autograph.
