Angel De Service Espoy (California, 1879-1963) oil on canvas seascape depicting waves crashing into a rocky shore at sunset. Housed in a foliate carved gilt frame. Signed lower right. Sight – 27 1/2" H x 37" W. Framed – 34 3/8" H x 44 1/4" W. Biography: Known for paintings that evidence his great love of the sea, Angel Espoy did work that includes seascapes and maritime subjects.
