1st item: carved hardstone figure of a noble lady or Guan Yin, reclining with a fan. Fan has etched decoration, possibly writing. 3-1/4"H x 4-1/4" W (not including carved wood stand). 2nd item: Carved pink coral figure of a woman with decorated fan, possibly Guan Yin, 3-7/8"H. 3rd item: Carved wood foo dog or dragon clutching a puzzle ball, 1-3/4"h. 4th item: carved lavender stone elephant on stand, 1-1/2" H overall. 5th item: blue marbleized stone (possibly sodalite) carved in the form of fruit and foliage, 1-1/2"h. 6th -8th items: 3 Intricately carved nuts depicting a man and two boys and a deer. 1-3/4"H. All Chinese or Japanese, late 19th to early 20th century. Private Nashville collection. Condition: 1st item has a few small chips to woman's headdress, otherwise all items in very good condition.
