6 early Kentucky coin silver teaspoons with elongated, oval-ended handles, the backs marked E * OUTTEN in rectangles (Ephraim Outten, working Maysville, KY by 1816-d. 1825). 5 1/8" L. 2.19 oz troy. Provenance: Estate of Lynn Renau, Louisville, KY, acquired in 1975 from Carriage House Antiques, Carrollton, Missouri. Letter from dealer to Mrs. Renau with price list mentioning these spoons is included with the lot. CONDITION: Very good condition with no monograms ormonogram removals.
