5 Asian Decorative Items. 1st item: Japanese carved and polychrome painted wood mask depicting a smiling male with deeply furrowed brow. 11" H x 7 3/4" W. Late 19th century. 2nd item: Japanese cast bronze mask of an older man with furrowed brow, signed with label en verso. 8 5/8" H x 6" W. 3rd item: Japanese blue and white pottery wine bottle with blue calligraphy decoration. 13 1/2" H. 20th century. 4th item: Asian "Money God" doll, possibly Indonesian, comprised of early coins bound with wooden mask, hands and feet and mounted on a wooden stand. Doll: 12 1/2" H. Overall: 14 1/2" H. 20th century. 5th item: Asian wood flail with leather and brass fittings. 15" total length. 20th century. Provenance: Collection of Milligan College, Tennessee. The Asian Cultural Exchange Foundation, Inc. in Washington D.C. presented these items to Milligan College in May of 1970. Condition: 1st item: Some age cracks to wood.
