Three (3) pieces of Thumbprint or Argus colorless pressed glass by Bakewell, Pears & Company, Pittsburgh, PA, including a spherical form raised covered bowl with scalloped rim and base (15" H x 8" dia.), a raised compote with a flared and scalloped rim (9 1/2" H x 11 1/2" dia.) and a smaller covered raised covered bowl (8" H x 7 1/4" dia.). All pieces 3rd quarter of the 19th century. Provenance: Estate of Martha Lyman, Dayton, TN. CONDITION: Spherical covered bowl with annealing lines to the interior center, chipping to one side of the lid. Raised compote with annealing lines or cracking to the interior bowl center. Smaller covered bowl overall very good condition.
