Italian Baroque Style giltwood double frame beveled mirror. Rectangular form consisting of two carved gilt borders joined by gilt-carved scrolled acanthus leaves and surmounted by a scrolled crest with central carved shell flanked by foliate-topped lattice decoration with additional scrolled foliate decoration to the sides. 49" H x 38" W x approx. 7" D. Late 19th/early 20th century.
PROVENANCE: Collection of John H. and Carol R. Evans, Farragut, Tennessee.
CONDITION: Some minor scattered restoration to carved elements. Overall good condition.
