Four (4) Asian Decorative Items, including Sculptures. 1st item: Chinese carved stone, possibly unpolished marble, sculpture depicting Quan Yin standing atop a wave pedestal with a small child by her side. 23 1/2" H x 11" W. 35.4 lbs. 20th century. 2nd item: Asian carved hardstone sculpture depicting Quan Yin standing with a basket in one hand and a ryui scepter in the other. 16 3/8" H. 20th century. 3rd item: Bronze Thai sculpture depicting a Buddha head 6 1/2" H. 20th century. 4th item: Chinese silk embroidered wall hanging depicting dragons against a dark blue ground with knotted corners. 54 1/2" H x 11 1/2" W. Late 19th/20th century. Note: Acquired by the consignor's father during his travels, including the Far East in the 1950's, as part of his world tour business that catered to the rich and famous. CONDITION: 1st item: Old repaired break to object in Quan Yin's hand, otherwise overall good condition. 2nd item: Natural fissures, some scattered wear and chipping to edges. 3rd item: Overall general wear, some oxidation. 4th item: Some scattered shattering and losses to silk fabric, overall general wear.
