Garland and Minnie Adkins (Kentucky, 20th century) Folk Art green painted cabinet, having a floral design on the glass and pink and yellow paint droplets throughout. The cabinet has a hinged glass door and is adorned with twelve (12) small carved and painted animals including foxes, dogs, turkeys, and other creatures. A standing female figure is attached to the top and holds a possum with outstretched arms. Signed "MEA 1995" on top. 18 1/2" H x 14" W. Late 20th Century.
PROVENANCE: Private Nashville, TN Collection.
CONDITION: Overall good condition, some pieces may have been re-glued. Scattered minute areas of paint loss to underside of cabinet.
